Patrol members enjoyed an uneventful four days over Easter with perfect weather and a reasonable surf. Only one more weekend of patrols to go and the weather forecast is again looking good for Patrols 6 and 1.
Nippers enjoy their last Sunday of the season.
SOCIAL JOTTINGS - An End-of-Season party will be held at the club on Sunday 28 April 2019 starting around 2pm and featuring live band(s), a barbecue and refreshments.
Also don't forget the Presentation Night on 25 May 2019 at Pittwater RSL Club!
Wear your loudest shirt - taste optional.
SLSA awards and club championship trophies will be presented while great raffle prizes will be on offer.
NIPPERS - A successful first season has concluded with a lot of very enthusiastic little participants and happy faces. Our thanks to Matt and Rebecca Woodman and all the Age Managers and parents who contributed to the running of events and behind the scenes work.
COMPETITION - The club will be fielding a team in IRB competition held during the winter months. Their first carnival will be at Stockton on 4-5 May. All supporters welcome!
EDUCATION - Congratulations to the successful Bronze and Surf Rescue Certificate squad who passed their exams on 13 April (the last one of the season) under the watchful eye of the examiner (and the equally watchful eye of Amber, our Chief Training Officer).
"Patient has thrown up………………"
CLUBHOUSE - Next time you are down at the club (28/4?) check out the kitchen renovations which have transformed this area. Our thanks to Tony Hyde (again) for organizing this and caretaker James Bezer for co-ordinating access for the installation.
THE WAY WE WERE…………
We've certainly come a long way from this (1966)!
